June 21 National Indigenous Peoples Day

Today is National Indigenous Peoples Day.  I hope you will find ways to celebrate this day.  CBC Radio has programming all day to help celebrate this day.   Or set some time aside tomorrow evening to watch Inspire Awards which is a celebration of Indigenous culture in Canada showcasing Canada’ s biggest names in Indigenous entertainment.  This will be broad cast on June 22 on CBC TV at 8pm.

Join me in worshiping with some First Nations people. We received this note from Rev Michael Cavenney, minister at Kamloops United Church. The community is offering the worship video below, for people around the regional council to mark National Indigenous People’s Day.   Please join me in viewing this worship service sometime today.  We will have some time to talk about it together as we gather for the Examen, tonight at 8pm behind the Naramata Centre Chapel.
