There are a number of ways you can donate to Naramata Community Church! Our Charitable Registration Number is 119197853 RR0002.
1. You can send an interac e-transfer, to our Treasurer email at finance@naramatachurch.ca . We have setup this email with our financial institution such that all interac transfers are “autodeposited” so we don’t need a password to bank them. This is the most efficient for us as there are no service fees, and minimal handling to bank your gift. You can also tell us, in the interac message panel, if you wish part or all of your donation to be for other reserve purposes, like our Building Fund, the United Church Mission and Service, the Anglican Primate’s World Relief and Development Fund, etc. Unless specified, all donations we receive by interac will go to our General Fund for ongoing operations. We require your name (first, middle initial, and last) as well as a home mailing address, and your email address (so we can record this donation properly to you as a tax-receiptable gift), and if you provide us with your email address, we assume this is your consent to receiving your tax receipt, the following spring, by email — let us know if you’d rather have paper mail). We will send our tax receipts out to donors annually, usually in late January/early February.
2. You can ask for a monthly donor pre-authorized givings (PAG) form to have your gift come directly from your bank or credit union once a month. Once you provide us a completed and signed form and void cheque, the Diocese of Kootenay processes these for us once a month, with a very small $2.50 setup fee and no ongoing fee. You can specify if any of your donation is to go other than to our General Fund for operations, so to other reserve purposes, like our Building Fund, the United Church Mission and Service, the Anglican Primate’s World Relief and Development Fund, etc. This is very efficient as we have minimal handling and only one initial setup fee. We will send our tax receipts out to donors annually. Please send an email to finance@naramatachurch.ca to request the form.
4. You can mail a cheque, payable to the Naramata Community Church, to PO Box 88, Naramata, BC V0H 1N0. Please ensure your name and address is on the cheque, or enclose those details in your letter.
3. You can use this online form below . The form sends your payment information securely through CanadaHelps, who will process your donation and provide you with a tax receipt (no tax receipting will come from us). CanadaHelps charges us a 3.75% processing fee (for one-time donations) and 3.5% (for monthly donations) when you use this online form below. If you donate directly through the CanadaHelps website, they charge us a 4% processing fee.
