Leadership and Committees
Naramata Community Church is supported by a dedicated group of volunteers who contribute their time, care, and leadership to the life of the church.
Board
The Board provides overall leadership and stewardship for the church.

Caring Committee
The Caring Committee provides consistent and prayerful care for members of Naramata Community Church, as well as for people in the wider community.
The committee supports others through pastoral communication, visiting, and ongoing connection. This includes phone calls, cards, emails, listening, prayer, and encouragement.
One example of this work is the Christmas Hamper Program, where the committee joins with other church members to provide support to families in the community.
Worship Committee
The Worship Committee supports the planning and leadership of Sunday services at Naramata Community Church.
Members of the congregation form teams to lead worship for each liturgical season, bringing a shared and collaborative approach to services. The committee meets informally with these teams to review plans and provide support.
The committee also coordinates greeters, readers, and those offering land acknowledgements during Sunday services.
Finance Committee
The Finance Committee oversees the financial affairs of Naramata Community Church on behalf of the Board.
The committee reviews financial statements, monitors income and expenses, and compares these with the budget approved by the congregation. It prepares an annual financial plan for the year ahead and may make recommendations to the Board regarding budgeting and the management of funds.
The committee typically meets several times a year and includes the Treasurer along with other members of the congregation.
